Extra curricular activities may include cricket, football, karate, chess, cricket, drama, art and craft.
Girls are encouraged to take a full part in school life from an early age. There is a democratically elected School Council and regular school meetings run by the girls when all pupils are able to put forward their views as well as to volunteer for duties around the school. The Code of Conduct and Anti Bullying Promise have been written by the pupils themselves.
The school aims at academic excellence in a non competitive happy environment where girls are encouraged to be confident, articulate and independent and where courtesy and consideration are expected. There is a flourishing parents association.
Facilities include a science laboratory, gymnasium, music room, art room, technology room, drama and dance studio, library and individual music tuition rooms. Each classroom contains multimedia computers and laptops are available for use by the pupils.
Art is a particular strength of the school and the girls are introduced to a wide range of media and techniques. Displays around the school celebrate the children's work and provide focal points of interest.
Music is central to the life of the school and children have opportunities to join one of the two orchestras, sing with a choir or take part in smaller string, brass, woodwind, or recorder ensemble groups.
