Malvern St James aims to provide each girl with stimulus and encouragement to develop her academic abilities to the full, foster and encourage a wide range of interests and develop a sense of personal values and responsibilities. We complement this individual emphasis with teamwork and a sense of collective responsibility. We aim to provide an all-round education that is dynamic and forward thinking within the framework of a caring and supportive community that reflects traditional values.

Our teaching facilities include a state of the art science centre and multimedia language centre which provide the best in 21st Century teaching facilities. We offer a busy and varied weekend programme of activities to suit all interests, including watersports, rock climbing, abseiling, music, drama and expeditions leading to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards.

Academic, music, art and sport scholarships are available for middle school entry, academic, music, art, drama and sport scholarships for sixth form entry. A scholarship is worth up to a maximum of 40% of annual fees and an exhibition is worth up to a maximum of 20% of the current fees.

The school is situated at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills in the heart of Worcestershire. Inter-City trains run from Great Malvern, the M5 and M50 are nearby and London, Birmingham and Manchester airports are within easy reach.
