A Word from the Head

The parents, students and staff are very proud of Bridgewater School. It has the feeling of a large family to it; small enough so that each student is known and respected as an individual, but large enough to offer the stimulation of a wide range of subjects and activities. From Preparatory right up to Sixth Form, each person has the opportunity to shine.

The relaxed atmosphere is the result of good relationships between the students and staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. As a result we develop students with confidence, self-discipline and the self-belief to aim high. In short we bring out the best in each student.

Entry for the Prep Department is by interview and assessment. There is an entrance examination at 11+ for entry to the Senior part of the school. Entry at other ages is by interview and appropriate assessment.

Bursaries and scholarships are available throughout the senior school.

Bridgewater School is a Registered Charity – number 1105547.
