A Word from the Head

Abbotsford offers a wide curriculum in a caring and secure environment. All staff are experienced and well-qualified. Classes are relatively small to ensure that all children receive individual attention and can reach their potential. There is a flourishing Nursery Department.

A large extension has provided many extra facilities including a purpose-built IT room, Art, Design Technology and Science rooms. French is taught from the Nursery upwards. A large range of sports is undertaken: winner of Sports' Council Active Mark Gold Award. Winner of regional and national competitions in Design Technology, Art, Drama, Poetry and Story Writing.

The School is a member of the ISA. We have received excellent Ofsted Reports.

The School has excellent examination and scholarship results for entry into independent secondary schools in the area.

There is a wide range of extra curricular activities. Before and After School Care is provided from 7.50am and until 6pm during term time supplemented by a Holiday Club.
