Meldreth Manor School is a Scope residential and day school offering a broad and balanced education for disabled students aged from 8 - 19, with complex care and learning support needs. You can access Meldreth Manor information by logging on to www.scope.org.uk/education
Every student at Meldreth is offered:
* A broad, balanced and relevant curriculum that develops their individual communication and physical skills, and an understanding of the world, within a stimulating living and learning environment.
* A comprehensive individual educational and care support plan and programme, based on a student-focused multi-disciplinary assessment process.
* Specialist assessments in: communication, including Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC); physical skills and postural management; Information Communication Technology (ICT); visual impairment; multi sensory impairment.
We work with families and carers to identify and meet the needs and potential of each child or young person
Residential accommodation at Meldreth is available for up to 32 boarding students as either termly (seven nights per week) or weekly (four nights per week) placements. Residential accommodation is currently available for 38 weeks of the year with an optional two-week summer respite scheme.
For September 2008, we plan to open a 52 weeks a year registered children's home - to increase the flexibility of individual arrangements and to meet the needs of students and their families.

Weekly boarding pupils: 3 boys and 2 girls
Full boarding pupils: 22 boys and 1 girl
Fee notes: Special schools' maximum fees may be much higher than the minimum because of the needs of the individual child, Please apply to this special school for details of fees
This school does not offer flexi-boarding.
TOTAL PUPILS: 25 boys and 3 girls, including 12 boys and 1 girl in the 6th form
