Location and Facilities
LVS aims to develop ‘caring, confident citizens’ for the future. LVS is a non-selective, fully co-educational day and boarding school of 900 pupils aged 4-18. The school is set in extensive grounds, just a short distance away from Royal Ascot and ideally situated within easy reach of London and the main international airports. We encourage students to give of their best, whether the goal is university entrance, success at GCSE, honour on the Sports field, artistic endeavour, or coping with the trials and tribulations of growing up.

Curriculum
Both Junior and Senior school follow the National Curriculum, but with the added feature of a wide range of GCSE, A Level and Applied A Level options, catering for each individual pupil's strengths. An extensive range of activities and extra-curricular clubs and societies underpin the academic dimension by providing opportunities for pupils to extend their horizons in team sports, drama and music, visits, clubs, hobbies and interests.

School facilities
The striking modern architectural design of the school ensures that the needs of the pupils and staff are fully accommodated. This includes seven specialist laboratories, a magnificent theatre with its state-of-the-art sound and light systems, indoor swimming pool, sports hall and movement/dance studio, medical centre and four boarding houses. Recent additions include a new Sixth Form and Learning Resources Centre and a newly-opened Performing Arts Centre.
