A Word from the Head

At Combe Bank we believe in a forward thinking modern education whilst keeping to traditional values. We are a school that prides itself upon caring for the individual and our small classes and excellent teachers combine to nurture and develop the talents and potential of each girl.

Combe Bank School is proud of its excellent examination results with every girl gaining entry into their university of choice. We also have a 100% pass rate at GCSE and A level. With facilities such as the 1.7 million pound sports complex which houses a 25 metre swimming pool, a sports hall that holds four county size badminton courts and a fitness suite, you can see that Combe Bank believes that sport along with music, art and drama, play an important part in school life. The school has over 200 fully networked computers with internet and video conferencing. We are very proud to be a leading Duke of Edinburgh award school school.

Combe bank girls are privileged to enjoy the magnificent palladian building set in 27 acres of stunning parkland. We now also have a purpose built sixth form centre.

Academic, music, sports and performing arts scholarships are available along with bursaries.
