A Word from the Head

St David's College, which is Accredited by the Independent Schools Joint Council, was founded in 1926 and is situated in five acres of beautiful playing fields and grounds. It prides itself on developing well-rounded, happy children with outstanding academic results. Each year pupils gain scholarships and fee-paying places at Independent Schools, as well as Kent Grammar School, London Borough of Bexley, London Borough of Bromley and London Borough of Sutton selective places.

Football, netball, tennis, cricket, athletics, swimming and rounders are taught. House matches form part of school life and the school teams play matches against other teams. There is a School Orchestra, Recorder Ensembles and a Chess Club. During the year the children are very successful in their participation in examinations and festivals for Ballet, Music, and Speech and Drama.

Pupils are encouraged to take part in out-of-school activities and many visits are arranged to places of interest. A school journey is arranged for the 11+ leavers during their last term at St David's.

The Principal and Head Teacher are always glad to see parents by appointment and to show the School to visitors.
