Francis Holland School, Sloane Square, is a leading London independent day school for girls aged 4-18. Excellent academic standards are achieved through the provision of a challenging academic curriculum and talented staff who encourage an enthusiasm for learning, intellectual curiosity and creativity. This allows our girls to thrive in a relaxed and happy environment where they are respected as individuals and able to fulfil their unique potential. Pupils that leave Francis Holland are not arrogant, precious or fragile. They are fully equipped for the global workplace and recognise that simply being able to pass exams is insufficient qualification to succeed at university and beyond. They are used to taking risks and have developed transferable skills which will enable them to adapt to different situations and career demands. Modest, generous, thoughtful and respectful, they have a strong sense of Christian values.
More recently the Sixth Form curriculum has been expanded providing the opportunity for all girls to take the Extended Project Qualification offering greater stretch and challenge to everyone. The Co-curricular provision has also been strengthened, for example with societies and clubs such as the Debate Society, the Exploration Society LitSoc and the Philosophy Club as well as the Enrichment Programme and Charity and Community activities. All girls are encouraged to be brave, take risks and embrace the opportunities on offer so that they have a chance to develop their individual talents.
