Norland Place is a long-established independent preparatory school for boys from the ages of four to eight and girls from the ages of four to eleven. Set in three listed buildings on Holland Park Avenue, the school has strong roots in the local community and provides a supportive and caring environment that values the individuality of each pupil and aims to develop to the full their potential. Academic standards are very high and expectations are set to challenge the children in all areas through a broad and balanced curriculum.

An excellent foundation in the traditional subjects from the core curriculum is of prime importance. In addition to this the school recognises the enriching powers of sport and the Arts, which enjoy a high profile in the School; music, art and PE are thriving departments and are significant forums for encouraging and celebrating the diverse range of talents and interests of the pupils. Children throughout Norland Place are encouraged to develop independence of thought and are raised to be critical thinkers, equipped for the years ahead.

The school has two secure outdoor playgrounds, with climbing walls and a 60ft Assembly Hall, which doubles up as a gym and dining hall. All catering is done in-house using organic/free range ingredients wherever possible. The School also has a science laboratory, a library, dedicated art and music rooms and an IT suite. Games are played either on site or at Avondale Park, which is a short walk away, and children participate in a wide variety of tournaments and inter-school matches.

Norland Place operates a sibling policy and early registration is essential. Parents interested in making further enquiries should contact the Bursar, who will be happy to be of assistance.
