Head PhotoPipers Corner is an independent day school for girls aged 4 - 18. From Pre-Prep through to Sixth Form there is a focus on academic excellence as girls are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. Our nurturing and encouraging environment also enables the girls to grow into mature, confident and independent individuals. Academically successful, our girls progress to further study at Oxbridge and other top universities or specialist dance, drama and music colleges.

Set in 96 acres of beautiful Chiltern countryside, the school is less than one hour from central London and Heathrow airport, 4 miles north of High Wycombe and 2 miles from Great Missenden (40 minute rail links to Marylebone Station in London).

All girls benefit from the wide range of excellent facilities and a commitment to a programme of continual improvement. Sport is popular at Pipers and from the 25 metre indoor swimming pool, to the sports hall and outdoor pitches we can accommodate a wide range of activities. Similarly those with creative interests benefit from the use of dance, drama and art studios within our Performing Arts and Technology Centre. Following the opening of the new facilities for the Sixth Form in September 2015, the major project to build an Arts Centre, complete with 280 seat theatre and café is now well underway. The Arts Centre is due to open in September 2016 and this will be followed by the development of a new Learning Resource Centre.

In addition to providing a stimulating learning environment we also encourage the girls to cultivate any sporting or creative talents they have through a wide range of lunch-time and after school clubs and activities.

11+ Scholarships are available for entry into the Senior School in any one of the following areas: Academic, Art, Drama, Music and PE. Means-tested Bursaries are available up to a maximum of 100% of day fees (including any Scholarship award). We also offer The Jessie Cross Award - An award for an all-rounder at 11+: This is a means tested bursary of up to 100% of fees, available to a deserving student currently educated in a maintained primary school and who shows promise in a number of areas. A limited number of Sixth Form Scholarships are available at 16+. Please contact us for further details.
