Head PhotoHeathfield School in Ascot is a leading, independent day and boarding school for girls aged 11 to 18. Girls benefit from the unique and unrivalled opportunities that this small school provides. Our excellence and unique qualities are frequently recognised and lauded both in the national press and in inspections. Our size and superb staff enables us to focus on the individual like no other. With a unique understanding of each girl, we ensure she achieves the best she possibly can while embracing life to the full by participating in Art, Drama, Music and Sport along with a huge variety of extra-curricular activities. Pastorally, we have been rated as 'Outstanding' by the ISI and academically we are consistently strong with our value added academic results being second to none. Excellent 2015 A Level results saw pupils confirming places at top UK Universities including Bristol, Exeter, Reading, Edinburgh, Newcastle and the University of the Arts London and at international institutions including the University of British Columbia in Canada. In September 2014, Heathfield became the first school in the UK to join with the London College of Fashion at the University of the Arts London for a unique and ongoing progression partnership which came about because of the talent they witnessed at the annual Fashion Show. Also in 2015, Heathfield was awarded a record fifth Good Schools Guide in the same category - best performance in a British school for girls taking Art and Design (Photography) at A Level. The new state-of-the-art STEM facility opened in September 2015. In the core STEM subjects at GCSE in 2015, our girls performed strongly with 100% achieving all A*- C grades in Mathematics and Biology and nine in ten (92%) achieving all A*- C in Chemistry and Physics. The sporting facilities within the leafy 36 acre site includes a large multi-purpose Sports Hall, two Squash courts, a Dance studio, Gym, five Lacrosse pitches, six Netball/Tennis courts and a 25m indoor Swimming pool. Heathfield competes successfully in Athletics, Lacrosse, Netball, Polo, Rounders, Skiing, Swimming and Show-Jumping. Heathfield provides a vibrant and dynamic environment where the girls build life-long friendships and fantastic memories. Entry for girls is at 11+, 13+ or 6th Form. A series of Open Mornings are run throughout the year or you are welcome to book in for a personal tour. Please contact Rebecca Farha, Registrar, on 01344 898342, or email registrar@heathfieldschool.net for further details.
