From Jo Smith, Principal

Welcome! We extend a warm welcome to you. Our doors are open, and we would love to meet you. Please visit our Open Events page and book on to a tour, open event, or taster day. Alternatively, join us for one of our sporting events and look out for future events hosted by The Marist. Choose from art challenges, biathlons, cross country competitions, music concerts, swimming galas, drama productions, football, or netball tournaments.

We believe that education is much more than the acquisition of knowledge; it is about the development of character and curiosity in a vibrant learning environment. We recognise that every child possesses innate gifts, talents, and skills and we seek to develop these unique personal qualities. Alongside physical, spiritual, moral, cultural, and social development, we strive for excellence in their intellectual development, ensuring our pupils become innovative, ambitious, and self-aware leaders of the future.

By providing personalised learning and attention, we develop their sense of confidence and esteem. We are proud to be a diverse community and we foster a family spirit across the school. We seek to push the boundaries in innovative and exciting learning and exceed each potential.

Our intention for your child is to unearth new interests, discover talents, take risks, enable success, and build character. Your child will be inspired and challenged to be the best they can be. We will provide them with a compass for life and they will know that they belong to a larger community of like-minded individuals.

Please take a good look around our website and keep an eye on our social media channels for the most up to date news @TheMaristSchool on Twitter and TheMaristSchool on Facebook.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

    School Reviews

    Caludia, Year 13

I joined the Marist in Year 3 and straight away knew I would be happy here

    Alice, Year 2

We are so lucky to have amazing school grounds and I love Outdoor Learning. We have campfires and sometimes cook smores

    Tess, Year 11

Joining The Marist School doesn’t mean becoming part of the community, it means becoming part of the family that has gone on for generations

    Georgian, Year 12

The Marist is so much more than a school, it's a community, in which I have been able to learn and grow.

    Charlotte, Year 2

My favourite thing in Year 2 has been learning about The Wild Child, it is amazing that she lives in the wild, finds food to eat from plants and can build dens

    Sarah, Year 9

The Marist School is different from many other schools because of the way the staff approach learning and how they support their students
