Head PhotoSt George's, Ascot is a warm and friendly school where we truly believe every one of our girls matters. With our small class sizes, excellent teaching and supportive pastoral care structure, we can really focus on the talents and aspirations of our pupils and support them in areas which they find more challenging.

Our results are excellent. We aim to add at least one grade higher at GCSE and A Level than their baseline prediction, and to enable girls to achieve their ambitions. However we are not a narrowly academic school - academics matter but this alone is not what makes a great education. St George's prides itself on offering a much more in-depth approach to learning; preparing our pupils beyond school by developing good communication skills, a love of learning and a willingness to get involved.

When I interview prospective pupils I am looking for girls who are keen and enthusiastic, who want to learn and who bring a positive attitude to our school community in a variety of areas. This is why we offer a tremendous breadth of opportunities, clubs, activities and a significant focus on the arts, music and sport. Our role at St George's is to inspire the girls - help them develop their talents, help them find new interests, and to really enjoy their education, so that when they leave school they are empowered young women ready to face life and all its challenges.

Please do come and visit St George's and meet our pupils and staff. It is only when visiting a school that it truly comes alive. I am sure you and your family will feel the magic, and understand how an education at St George's will really make a difference to your daughter.
