Head PhotoThe Grey House School in Hartley Wintney, provides a happy, caring yet stimulating and disciplined environment for girls and boys aged 4 – 11+.

The small non-selective school has 130 pupils and an excellent academic record. It is a secure and safe place for boys and girls to learn.

The National Curriculum is followed, but extended, with a view to preparing the children for entrance examinations to selective senior schools at 11+.

The school, established in 1949, also offers extensive opportunities in sport and the arts. There are many extra-curricular activities including athletics, fencing, golf and judo. The school has a comprehensive swimming programme and has received a number of national awards. There are workshops and trips organised throughout the school year and two optional residential holidays offered.

The staff are committed to providing excellent teaching and the school encourages and expects courtesy, respect and consideration for others. Our children leave here confident of their abilities and with a wide range of experience.

The school's most recent Ofsted report highlights many of the strengths of the school and our website gives additional information.
