Head PhotoSt Edward’s Charitable Trust is an independent day and residential special school and we provide care and education for boys aged between 9 and 18 who have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD).

Boys are typically referred by Local Authorities. St Edward’s is situated in a substantial park on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. It benefits from extensive grounds, a wide selection of workshops, specialist buildings, and very impressive sporting facilities. The school provides an education and care service during the school year. In addition to a full and varied curriculum, pupils can participate in a wide range of extracurricular clubs and activities.

At St Edward’s we help pupils make better choices about their behaviour and consider the effect it has on others. We seek to help pupils attain a level of academic success, enabling them to exercise a wider choice of career opportunity.
