We are an independent preparatory school situated just south of Petersfield with excellent transport links allowing access from, not just Petersfield in the north, but also Hayling Island, Portsmouth and Chichester in the south. We teach boys and girls aged 3-11 in a Georgian building set in our own 25 acres of private playing fields and walled garden. A Kingscourt education begins at the age of three when children enter our Kindergarten. We offer a stimulating atmosphere and opportunities to try new things. This ignites our youngest pupils' passion for learning, love of the outdoors and desire to be physically active as they prepare to begin their formal education in Reception. We maintain a strong work ethic. Academic rigour is of great importance to us, borne out by our tradition of sending children to their first choice of local senior school, often with academic, sports, music, art or drama scholarships.

However, we know that education isn't just about great academic results. Kingscourt staff work together with parents to develop the potential of their children. This character education means that we work with every child to develop a sense of self-belief and well-being. The enjoyment of a fulfilling curriculum and exciting extra-curricular activities helps build resilience, self-motivation, team work skills and a positive sense of achievement. These are essential building blocks for an enjoyable and rewarding primary education.

We say that every day is an open day at Kingscourt. We'd love you to come and see for yourself what a Kingscourt education could do for your child. Simply email admissions@kingscourt.org.uk or call 023 92 593251 to make an appointment to come and see us on a day and at a time to suit you.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kingscourt soon.
