New Head Announced

We are pleased to announce that Mr Hitchings, the Head of St. Aubyns School, Brighton, has been appointed to the Headship of Swanbourne House from September 2013. Simon and his wife, Caroline, have two children, Charlotte aged three and Alex aged two. Simon has a strong educational background having achieved a First Class in Classics at University College, Oxford. He has been Head of St. Aubyns since 2007 and previously taught at Papplewich, Ascot and Kings College, Cambridge.
Mr John Leggett, Chairman of the Governors at Swanbourne House, said "The Governors were particularly impressed with the positive attitude and dynamism of both Simon and Caroline. I am convinced that they are well suited to embrace the Swanbourne ethos and further the good work of Stephen and Julie over the past years. I know that the entire Swanbourne community will look forward to giving Simon, Caroline and their family a warm welcome in September 2013."
