Pupils carry the Salisbury banner in the Magna Carta Pageant

Year 10 pupils from Leehurst Swan School carried a banner which represented Salisbury in the celebrations for the 800 years of the Magna Carta. Thousands of people turned out to see a spectacular parade through the streets of Salisbury to the Cathedral, where there was a finale of fireworks and music. The banner itself was produced at school in the Art department by pupils in years 7, 8 and 9 and represented Leehurst Swan, Salisbury, its rivers and the cathedral.
