Overall, 30% of all Colchester High School grades were either A* or A outperforming UK attainment of 21.2% in this grade range. Among the successes were Oscar Fellows with 7 A* and 4 A grades, Ethan Thrower with 6 A* and 4 A grades, Thomas Moore 6 A* and 4 A grades and outgoing Head Girl Rebecca Morgan who achieved 4 A* and 5 A grades. The Principal, David Young said, “We are so proud of all our pupils who have worked so hard to achieve fantastic results. The results were particularly strong in Art, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT, Computer Science, Music and Statistics where 100% of the grades were A* to C. We are also very pleased to see so many of our top performers will either be staying with us for the Sixth Form or going on to local Grammar Schools.”
