Godolphin School wins National Good Schools Guide Awards

On the 22nd June 2016, Godolphin School was recognised in the annual awards presented by The Good Schools Guide. The prestigious annual awards, which are in their 10th year, are based on a detailed analysis of the most recent examination results, and are designed to highlight consistently good teaching. Godolphin received three Good Schools Award for • Best performance by Girls taking Art & Design at an English Independent School • Best performance by Girls taking Music Performance: Group at an English Independent School • Best performance by Girls taking Design & Food Technology at an English Independent School Mrs Hattersley, Head of Godolphin, said, ‘We are absolutely delighted to be acknowledged in this way for our excellence in Art & Design, Music and Design and Food Technology. This is a very proud moment for Godolphin and we are sure it will inspire and encourage all our pupils” Ralph Lucas, Editor of The Good Schools Guide, comments, ‘Our annual awards scheme is designed to recognise and reward excellence in teaching in every subject area at both GCSE and A Level or equivalent.
