St Hilary's has a marvellous time celebrating Roald Dahl Day

Pupils and staff had a marvellous time on the 13th September celebrating Roald Dahl Day. The day marks 100 years since the birth of the children’s author. As well as dressing as characters from Roald Dahl books, children listened to his Revolting Rhymes and enjoyed a themed lunch. The menu comprised: Blackbird pie served with green slugs, everlasting gob stoppers and chocolate gravy followed by bug filled algae pond water jelly. As well as having a tremendous time, the children also raised money for the Roald Dahl charity.
