Women in Science Day
On Monday 14 November, five Prep School pupils from Lower Second visited OBH for the annual Women in Science and Technology Day.
They had four different challenges to undertake. These included building a bridge from just spaghetti and marshmallows, maths problems, a chemistry challenge, testing various fruit juices for their Vitamin C content and a physics challenge, which involved making the most successfully wind powered vehicle.
The girls learnt to work together as a team and to listen to each team member’s ideas and suggestions. Unfortunately the girls did not win but they had a great day and learnt a lot.Published: December 5 2016
