Culford Pupils Run Charity Restaurant in aid of Kailash Bodhi School

On Wednesday 23 and Thursday the 24 November the Charity Committee held their annual Charity Restaurant in aid of Kailash Bodhi School.

Culford’s chef, Mr Marchant and his team kindly volunteered to come and prepare the meal in person. The result was a spectacular 5 course taster menu that was widely appreciated by all customers.

Teams of willing pupils set up the restaurant in the Red Room and acted as waiters and waitresses for both evenings. All the pupils who volunteered had a fantastic time whilst also helping raise money for a wonderful cause.

Both evenings were well attended with nearly 100 guests in total, who generously donated a total of nearly £2,000 towards Kailash Bodhi. A huge thank you must go to all the chefs, caretakers and other volunteers who donated all their time and energy to make this such a successful event.
