Culford Highland Ball 2016

On Saturday 10 December Culford Sixth Form pupils attended their annual Highland Ball. The committee for the event was a team of extremely helpful Sixth Formers. They arranged the event and turned Centenary Hall into a blue and white winter wonderland.

With all the Sixth Form dressed up to the nines, the boys in their tuxes and the girls in their beautiful ball gowns, the evening began with a mulled wine reception in Old Hall. The evening was a great success and, as always, the students were fully involved with the Ceilidh dancing and the theme of the evening.

The guests tucked into a delicious three course meal made by the wonderful catering team, and the room was alive with laughter and chat.

After the meal, the Ceilidh dancing began. It was fantastic to see the students practising on the dance floor and taking part in the main dance with great enthusiasm.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and all the pupils did themselves proud. Thanks to all the staff that helped and supported, as well as the committee for doing such a wonderful job helping to organise.
