Cadogan House Formal Dinner
Cadogan House held their annual formal dinner on Tuesday 6 December to help get the Prep School boarders into the Christmas spirit. With pupils and staff dressed to impress, the evening started off with a bang as the teachers were welcomed with a round of applause and some X Factor style music.
The evening began with a quiz, followed by the pulling of crackers and dressing up in Christmas hats. Before long, the Catering team brought out the starter of tomato soup with croutons, followed by a delicious traditional Christmas dinner, which was enjoyed by all.
Dinner concluded with a wonderful performance by Sarah Gu (U3) on the piano. The entertainment did not end there as a few more Christmas pieces were played by the music teacher, Mr Stephen Clay.
A remarkable performance was given by the matron, Mrs Tattersall, and undoubtedly one of the funniest teachers ever, Mr Calvert. They both dressed up as spoof Cadogan cleaners and did their best to embarrass the audience, earning a giggle from everybody.
To conclude the evening, the pupils all tucked into their traditional penguin ice creams, which in their opinion is the best way to end the evening.
