First Forms Christmas Tale

On Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 December First Form performed their annual Nativity The Magical Christmas Jigsaw. The pupils performed to over 400 parents, guests, fellow pupils and staff.

Through the story of toys and a long lost Jigsaw Puzzle, the audience was treated to wonderful acting and complex musical performances; showcasing beautifully the development of musical theatre in the School as well as the festive tale.

Guided by the toy seller and lead Angel, the cast told an enchanting story accompanied with wonderful singing, which wowed three sell-out audiences. The performance reflected a charming tale that revealed the well-known Christmas tale in an innovative light.

Mike Schofield, Prep School Head said: ‘’The hours of rehearsal and choreography were reflected in all final performances and are a credit to the hard work of all involved. I hope that such an opportunity gives many children a taste for theatre, music and singing at Culford, which can all be explored as they move beyond the First Form.’’

Thank you to all who formed part of Culford’s audiences; it was a fantastic production that reflected great professionality.
