Equestrian Photoshoot at Culford
Senior School pupils Katherine Cross (L6) and Rhianna Walton (U6) recently organised an equestrian photoshoot in the grounds of Culford School. The girls organised the morning for all Culford riders from both Prep and Senior School to showcase the equestrian programme.
There are currently 18 pupils at Culford who compete at a range of heights in National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) competitions and many who compete out of school. A few are also competing at higher levels including national, international and championships.
Culford offers the opportunity to take part in group lessons from beginner level, through to intermediate or advanced. Instruction is offered in show jumping, cross-country and dressage. Individual lessons can be arranged if required.
Those who are riding at a suitable level are registered with the NSEA are encouraged to represent the School in both individual and team competitions.
Katherine’s discipline is eventing and she commented that: “All of the girls had a fantastic morning. It was lovely for all of the riders to meet each other and for the younger riders to see the older ones. We are very grateful to the Headmaster for allowing us to organise the shoot and for coming along and supporting us.”
The pupils would also like to thank Sue Cross for taking the pictures.Published: February 22 2017
