Dauntsey’s Dancers Take to the Stage
Almost 100 pupils have taken to the stage in Dauntsey’s Dance Showcase. This celebration of dance featured 22 different performances, drawing on expertise from the School’s many dance lessons and clubs as well as the GCSE and A Level syllabus classes.
The event presented a wide variety of dance styles including contemporary, ballet, street and jazz, which showcased the talents and versatility of the pupils.
The audience enjoyed some truly spectacular performances from GNI, the School’s boys-only street dance group, and Dauntsey’s Dance Company, the senior dance group who impressed with their athleticism and versatility.
Emily Wilkins, Teacher of Dance, Dauntsey’s said:
“Parents, teachers and pupils were all amazed by the enthusiasm of the dancers and the professionalism with which they took to the stage.
“It is wonderful to see Dance continuing to thrive at Dauntsey’s – for both boys and girls.”
