Parkgate House School is an independent school educating over 200 children aged from two to 11 years. Residing in a historic Georgian Grade II listed building overlooking Clapham Common, the school is supported by an impressive staff of over forty teaching professionals. Children receive focused attention in one of three specialised areas: the Montessori Nursery for two to four year olds; the Pre- Preparatory Department for those aged four to seven and the Preparatory Department for the seven to 11 age range. At any age, children enjoy an expansive, high quality curriculum, which is further enhanced by an established after school programme including choir, IT, drama, French, sport and horse riding. A recent Ofsted report praised Parkgate House: ‘The quality of the curriculum provided by Parkgate House School is outstanding for pupils of all ages. Pupils thrive as they move through the school.’
