A Word from the Head

Pipers Corner is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 3 - 18. From Pre-Prep through to Sixth Form there is a focus on academic excellence as girls are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential. Our nurturing and encouraging environment also enables the girls to grow into mature, confident and independent individuals. Academically successful, our girls progress to further study at Oxbridge and other top universities or specialist dance, drama and music colleges.

Set in 36 acres of beautiful Chiltern countryside, the school is less than one hour from central London and Heathrow airport, 4 miles north of High Wycombe and 2 miles from Great Missenden (40 minute rail links to Marylebone Station in London).

Facilities
The standard and extent of our excellent facilities along with our commitment to a programme of continual improvement means that our girls have all the space and equipment they need to enable them to excel. Sport is popular at Pipers and from the 25 metre indoor swimming pool, to the sports hall and outdoor pitches we can accommodate a wide range of activities. Similarly those with creative interests benefit from the use of dance, drama and art studios within our Performing Arts and Technology Centre.

Outside the classroom
In addition to providing a stimulating learning environment we also encourage the girls to cultivate any sporting or creative talents they have through a wide range of lunch-time and after school clubs and activities.

Home from home
Our friendly boarding community offers flexibility, freedom and peace of mind to both girls and their parents. Our range of boarding options means that we can provide practical solutions to the often demanding needs of modern family life.
