The Peterborough School

The Peterborough School is the City’s only independent co-educational school with nursery for pupils aged 6 weeks to 18 years.

Small class sizes, excellent pastoral support and high levels of individual attention are key to the many and varied successes which are achieved. In the classroom, lifelong learning skills are developed and pupils of all ages have the opportunity to extend themselves through annual Individual Learning Projects. Beyond the classroom, children are offered a wide range of opportunities and experiences to develop their self-confidence and all are encouraged to participate, whatever their standard.

The ethos of the School, focusing on kindness, courtesy and tolerance to all, means that discipline and manners are excellent and children have the ability to exploit fully their natural potential within a happy, caring and friendly community.

As well as the recent development of the admission of boys into the Senior School, the School is undergoing physical expansion too, at the forefront of which is a new Sports Facility which will open for September 2012.

Visitors are welcome all year round by appointment but our Open Days on Saturdays in October and May offer excellent opportunities for families to visit less formally to find out what the School offers. For further information call the School on 01733 343357 or visit www.thepeterboroughschool.co.uk.

I look forward to meeting you.
