Strathallan is one of Scotland's leading independent co-educational boarding and day schools, for children aged 9-18. We are located on a beautiful campus in 150 acres of rural Perthshire, just a few miles from the City of Perth.  Scotland's International Airports are within easy reach (Edinburgh 35/40 min and Glasgow 1 hour by car) making the commute to London Heathrow less than 2 hours. This appeals to parents from all over the world (14% of our international students are represented from 22 different countries) as it is surprisingly more accessible than many other schools in the UK.

Throughout Strathallan School, the supportive environment values each pupil and places emphasis on the importance of individuality within our community. The ideals of responsibility, tolerance and integrity are developed, encouraging pupils to become happy, confident and well-adjusted individuals, prepared for the challenges of adult life.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The School aims to provide an excellent all round education and our academic record is one of the best in the country with 100% A Level pass rate (around 80% A/B). Over 95% of pupils go on to university, with a wide variety of destinations including Oxford and Cambridge. Strathallan offers GCSEs, Scottish Highers, AS and A2 examinations across a broad curriculum.

Facilities are being constantly upgraded and improved, giving the pupils access to the latest technology and learning materials. Recent additions include a new Art School, Design Technology Centre, new Biology and Chemistry Laboratories, ICT Centre, Girls' Boarding House, a second all weather pitch, refurbished Sixth Form Centre and Dining Hall.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Strathallan offers an unrivalled range of academic, sporting and extra-curricular activities (over 55 per week to choose from), providing opportunities for each pupil to excel. Our staff recognise that each child is an individual and the importance of identifying and encouraging their full potential. This is clearly reflected in our many accomplishments in sport, drama, music and art.

The School offers a range of sports including rugby, cricket, hockey, netball, swimming, tennis and skiing. Over half of our pupils learn a musical instrument and there are a range of orchestras, ensembles, jazz band, pipe band and choirs including a Cathedral Choir with over 60 concerts a year from 20 different ensembles. The Art School offers a wide spectrum of drawing, painting, ceramics and print-making. Two of our pupils were among the top 5 in A Level last year. In addition, most pupils are involved in regular School/House drama productions. Other activities include CCF and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.

PASTORAL CARE
The ethos of Strathallan is friendly, disciplined and caring - to bring out the very best in each individual child. Our junior house, Riley, is for pupils aged 9-13, and the seven senior boarding houses provide single-study accommodation for all pupils for their last four years. The house system ensures a high level of pastoral care, praised in a recent HMI inspection, and parents remain closely involved in their child's development and upbringing.

We have so much to offer at Strathallan and every pupil is nurtured to ensure that they get the very best out of what we have to offer. Please come and visit us because only by coming to see us will you experience what we really have to offer.
