A Word from the Head

Lord Wandsworth College (LWC) is beautifully located on the north Hampshire/Surrey border. It has a strong community atmosphere, is a happy school - well respected locally, friendly, and clear of purpose.

My educational philosophy is a simple one. Good schools are places in which children learn to find out about and feel good about themselves. They discover their likes and dislikes, their strengths and weaknesses, and they come to believe that they can shape their own destinies. They are surprised and challenged - in the classroom, on the games fields, in rehearsal rooms, art studios and elsewhere - by teachers and by friends who know them well and who support them always.

Please accept my warm invitation to visit. It is only through coming to see us, meeting staff and pupils, that you will gain any real sense of what this wonderful school may have to offer you.
