The augmented Norwich High School Chamber Choir of 44 singers joined 40 choirs from across the UK a total of 1,400 singers - to sing at the Barnardos Celebration Concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 7th November. The choir loved the popular programme of songs and a Mexican Wave in the High School Medley with this number of singers was a sight! Year 10 pupil Augusta Urquhart sang a solo in 'Where do we go from here?' by Chris Hazell, and Sandy Ni'Man was called to the front to take a leadership role in 'I've Got a Feeling' by The Black Eyed Peas. In the second half the Chamber Choir of 31 stood on their own to sing 'Schubert: Psalm 23', beautifully accompanied by Geoff Davidson. They also sang an arrangement of 'Greensleeves' by Imogen Holst. The girls described the occasion as 'a life changing experience', 'awesome' and 'a lifetimes dream come true'.
