Staff, parents and guests recently enjoyed Cobham Hall's annual Summer Exhibition of GCSE and A Level Art work produced by students of Art, Design and Photography. Three of this year's A Level students were short-listed for the annual Royal Academy of Art A Level Summer Exhibition On-Line, selected from over 1,300 submissions from students all over the UK.

This exhibition is an exciting showcase for students of Art, Design and Photography. The final pieces for exhibition have now been selected, including a piece by Cobham Hall A Level Art student, Elizabeth Shultz
(in the category 'Habitation and Dereliction', number 3 in the gallery for that section).

Cobham Hall's Art Department has an established reputation for high quality teaching and successful preparation of students for entry to specialised Art Degree Courses and Foundation Art Courses. Many students gain entry to Central St Martins, one of London's most prestigious Art colleges.

Former students who have made a career in the world of art and design include award winning photographer Amelia Troubridge, who has published two books, including a collection of her photographs of 'The World's Most Dangerous Men', featuring her very personal images of, amongst others, Fidel Castro, Bill Clinton and Hugh Hefner.

Designer Sarah Ritchie is also an old girl of the school, and now runs her own highly successful design company.
