Outspan School and Spratton Hall

Spratton Hall are now linked with Outspan School where Spratton Hall will sponsor a child to guarantee them an education that they would not otherwise get. Spratton Hall also hopes to be able to help with mosquito nets, learning supplies and clothes.Outspan School was set up in 1995 by Ugandan Scout Leaders and the link with the Northamptonshire Scouts is still strong today. There are five hundred children being educated at Outspan School but not one of them is funded by the government. By giving a child an education, that child's whole family will be helped to find a way out of poverty.
Spratton Hall's Years 4 and 5, as part of their PSHCE and Tutorial work, will be responsible for raising the money to sponsor the child and will also start to forge a close relationship through letters and photographs with the pupils at Outspan, relationships that will hopefully last for many years. This contact will enrich and broaden Spratton Hall's pupils by giving them the opportunity to compare and contrast experiences, interests and hobbies with the children in Bwaise.
Years 4 and 5 have decided that their first fundraising event will be to make a personalised t-towel.
