Hampshire Collegiate School's portrait competition attracted some stunning entries from pupils across the school, based at Embley Park, Romsey. Work included drawings, painting, collage and photography from Years 6 through to Year 13.The competition was judged by artists connected with the 'art caf in Winchester, who loaned HCS their exhibition in the summer term.
The competition was generously sponsored by Charters estate agents, Creative Crafts (a specialist art shop in Winchester) and family photographer Kate Griffin.
Competition organiser, HCS art teacher Brionny Luxton said: ' We were thrilled at the very high standard and creativity of entries and delighted that such high profile local artists were able to judge the entries. Following the success of this competition we hope this will become an annual event.'
