ACS Cobham International School recently sent 27 of its student runners to Zurich for the International Schools Sports Tournament Cross Country Championships and had great success - their Boys Varsity Team won gold and their Girls Varsity Team won silver, only one point behind gold.

Student runners aged between 12-18 years (grades 7-12) competed against other teams from across Europe, including: Zurich International School, which hosted the event, American School of London, Frankfurt International School, American School of Paris, British School of Brussels, Munich International School, American School of The Hague and TASIS.

Students completed a five kilometre course in the forest areas surrounding Zurich International School. Dave Schuchter, Athletic Director at ACS Cobham International School, was proud to see his students excel:

The students had a great time running as a team and competing with new friends from across Europe. Over the past few years our boy's and girl's cross country teams have established themselves as a first class running programme experiencing success both locally and in Europe. The future looks bright for continued success.
