Hillingdon's Got Talent!

Published Tuesday 19th of May 2015 01:10:37 PM

Talented students at ACS Hillingdon International School sang, danced, and performed magic tricks for delighted audience members at Hillingdon's Got Talent.

Over 60 students aged 5 - 18 years took part. A wide variety of talents were showcased; Suhani and Rhea, sisters in lower school, performed a Bollywood dance, whilst Lauren and Evelyn, sisters age 16 and 10, sung a duet from Les Miserables - 'I Dreamed a Dream'. Other performances included a karate demonstration, an original violin composition and students demonstrating their skills on piano, saxophone, flute, and guitar. A family performance of 'Uptown Funk' gave the show a memorable finale.

Amanda Philipe-Savage, Parent and Hillingdon's Got Talent Organiser, commented:

'Taking part in the annual talent show allows the whole school community to come together, supporting each other, building confidence, making new friends and discovering that there are no boundaries to their capabilities. They learn that practice makes perfect and everyone has a talent that is worthy of being showcased.

'My favourite part of the show was seeing so many children I have known since they were very young performing with such confidence - all thanks to their incredible teachers.'
