The Marist Sixth Form swept the board at Friday's Local Area Young Enterprise Final winning four of the six trophies for Best Trade Fair Stand, Best Company Report, Innovation Award, and the Area Winners' cup.

The Marist team called The Study Gurus, created 'The Study Bible' which is a revision guide with a differencewritten for pupils by pupils. It advises not what to revise but how to revise with winning revision methods personalized to each learner based on their own preferred learning style.

The Marist Young Enterprise team comprises of eleven 16 year olds, Link Advisor Richard Roberts, and Link Teacher James Bennett. There were competing against eight schools in the local area, however, their determination, commitment and enthusiasm was held up by the judges to be the key to their success.

Ruby Wyles, Managing Director of The Study Gurus comments, 'It was a shock to win overall. We tried to stay positive and couldn't believe we won so many awards for The Study Bible. Innovation is our strongest element and we spend a lot of time developing our product so we are delighted to have won. We look forwards to representing South East Berkshire in the County Finals.'

The Study Gurus are now on their way to the County finals on May 6th. And they are also strong contenders for HSBC Innovation Award national competition held in London in July.
