Pre-Prep poppies help the Hazlegrove community to remember

Published Tuesday 17th of November 2015 12:52:38 PM

Hazlegrove Pre-Prep children have been busy making ceramic poppies again this year adding to collection which was started last year. Some of those poppies were then used in the Hazlegrove Remembrance Day service with one poppy being laid by the flag pole for each of the 26 former King's Bruton or Hazlegrove (formerly Plox) pupil who had given their lives in active service either during or since the First World War. The plan is to continue to add to the collection each year until we are able to celebrate 100 years since the end of the First World War.
