Families at ACS Egham International School got into the spirit of Halloween by celebrating with some spooky activities at their annual Boot-to-Boot event. Over 50 students and their parents gathered to decorate their car boots in a spooky Halloween style to get into the spirit of the Parent Teacher Organisation run event. To kick off the evening students enjoyed a Halloween film in the school’s Performing Arts Centre while outside was transformed into a spectacular treat. Dressed in their best scary costumes the Lower School students had a great time exploring the decorations and going from car boot to car boot trick or treating. Students also fully embraced the festivities with a pumpkin carving competition with PTO members judging whose pumpkin was the most ghoulish. Sarah-Jane Girardelli, PTO event co-ordinator, said, “It was absolutely fantastic to see so many families attend the Boot-to-Boot Halloween event. Everyone did an amazing job working hard to decorate their car boots and seeing all the children having a great time and getting into the spirit is fantastic.”
