National Concert Band Finals (NCBF) here we come!

Congratulations to all of the Warwick School and King’s High School musicians who took part in the National Concert Band Festival (NCBF) regional finals in Nottingham last weekend. Six bands participated, which is more than any other school in the competition and all came away with an award. • Foundation Wind Orchestra - Platinum Award • Little Big Band - Platinum Award • Jazz Lab - Platinum Award • Big Band - Gold Award • Concert Band - Silver Award • Wind Band - Bronze Award As a result three bands qualify for the National Championship to be held at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester at Easter: The Foundation Wind Orchestra which is a collaborative orchestra including pupils from Warwick School and King’s High School; Little Big Band and Jazz Lab which are both Warwick School bands.
