Boarders take part in Sportathon for Lewis Moody Foundation

Published Wednesday 9th of December 2015 11:51:18 AM

Having worked hard at gaining sponsors the Millfield Prep boarding community undertook the challenge of a day of sport - in fact, in man maths, they amassed about 450 hours between them! The pupils were raising money for the Lewis Moody Foundation and after they had played some football, rugby, tennis, squash, cricket, cycling, table tennis and riding they gathered in the assembly hall to work out to a mass fitness DVD. The pupils and staff have already managed to raise in excess of £3,500. Lewis Moody is going to come in later this term to meet all those who took part and to collect the cheque.
