Chafyn Grove meet Tibetan Monks from Tashi Lhunpo

The Year 3 children had a wonderful afternoon at St Thomas’ Church taking part in a workshop with Tibetan Monks from the monastery of Tashi Lhunpo. The children carried out different activities led by the monks like Sand Mandala Making, Prayer Flag Printing, Sculpture, Dukar Wheel Making and learning some Tibetan words and phrases. The children were completely absorbed in the experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time with the monks.
