Culford’s Senior Girls’ tennis team have won the Suffolk U19 Girls Doubles Championship for the fourth consecutive year. Six pupils took part; Lowenna Clarke (15), Lily Knape (16), Marie Owino (17), Leonie Schnoor (17), Emily Sim (17) and Abby Taylor (15). David Hall, Director of Tennis at Culford, said: “I am delighted for the girls to win this competition for a fourth consecutive year. We are now preparing for the forthcoming National Finals in July where we have four teams competing for the first time, which is an indication of the success we have had this year.” Emily Sim has been offered a full scholarship to play tennis at Tiffin University, Ohio, following in the footsteps of Culford pupils Toby Cutting, Tom Fisher and Henry Patten who won tennis scholarships at American universities last year.
