Published Wednesday 29th of June 2016 10:19:18 AM

Students from ACS Cobham International School celebrated the end of an era at their graduation ceremony, attended by over 600 well-wishers, including family members, teachers and friends. The 162 students, aged 17-18 years, have just finished studying for their pre-university qualifications. Students studied either the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, an internationally recognised qualification that will allow them to continue their studies at universities worldwide, or Advanced Placement courses, which are highly regarded by universities in North America. Christopher Walker, High School Principal, commented: “The Class of 2016 have so much to be proud of and graduation truly celebrated this. The ceremony was inspirational and touching, and certainly an event to remember.” The inspirational guest speaker at the graduation ceremony was Mr Simon Collins, Independent School Head of the Year, 2010/11, and headmaster at local Aberdour school.
