Exceptional GCSE Results at Warwick School

Warwick School is celebrating exceptional GCSE results with over 46% of grades being awarded at A* - the second highest GCSE scores the school has achieved. Douglas Boyle, Joshua Brown, Samuel Coy, David Holroyd, James Keay, James McAuliffe, Gautham Rao, Andrew Tinkler and Samuel Young all achieved 11 A*s which is outstanding and an improvement on last year’s performance, with 14 boys achieving a clean sweep of A* only grades. 19 students scored 10 or more A*A grades which also is an increase on last year. Remarkably, 56 boys achieved a clean sweep of only A* and A grades, with 78% of this year’s results scoring A* or A, one of our best years ever. Nearly 95% of results were A*-B grades which is an outstanding outcome. Science and Maths results were again fantastic: Chemistry and Biology results were 100% A*A grades, Physics an incredible 97% A*A and Maths results were 86% A*A. Head Master, Mr Lock said, “Warwick School has enjoyed another set of exceptional GCSE results. I am extremely proud of our boys who have achieved these results; they have worked incredibly hard and have benefitted from fabulous support from their families and outstanding guidance from their teachers.
