St Swithun's Junior School pupils have once again been busy raising money for local children's hospice Naomi House and their efforts across two events have so far have amounted to over £2,000 for the local charity.

Pupils recently took part in a Readathon at the school where they curled up quietly with their favourite book for the afternoon, acquiring sponsorship for their commitment.

Several of the older pupils in Year 6 endured the wet conditions, along with staff and parents, to take part in the Clarendon Way Walk for Naomi House, impressively completing the half marathon distance of thirteen miles across muddy country tracks. Some members of staff walked the entire 26.2 miles.
